The shopping centre boasts over 100 stores, including food, fashion, services and essentials, attracting a wide audience that ranges from LSM 4 – 7, of which 53,4% is Female and 46,6% is Male.

Golden Acre is also surrounded by a busy bus terminal, taxi rank and a major network of underground concourses that lead to the central railway station, giving you ample opportunity to engage the large audience.

You’ll find various exhibition spaces within the shopping centre to suit your business needs and ensure optimal exposure.

DISPLAY REQUIREMENTS

▪ Exhibitions must be of a high standard befitting the image of Golden Acre Shopping Centre.
▪ Centre exhibitions / promotions enjoy preference.
▪ Exhibitions must be accompanied by printed or professional quality signage presented of a high standard.
▪ Tables must be covered with full length tablecloths.
▪ Exhibition stand must be set up by 8:30am each day and dismantlement to take place after 5:30pm.
▪ The furniture, fittings or finishes of the centre, for example pot plants, lamp posts, walls, shop fronts,
features etc., may not be used by exhibitors / promoters as display structures or support.
▪ All exhibition furniture must be removed from the court space once the exhibition is complete. Should the
exhibitor fail to comply a R1 000,00 fine will be issued.
▪ NO handwritten posters shall be allowed.
▪ NO eating or drinking shall be allowed at any display.
▪ All storage or packing material, for example cardboard boxes, must be removed from the exhibition /
promotion site, or concealed from view. No storage facility will be made available.
▪ No selling is allowed at exhibition table. Exceptions may be made on request.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

▪ Complete an application form and return it to Katheer Ontong (katheer@theblueroom.co.za) for approval.
▪ Should your application be approved, Golden Acre will send you a contract to complete.
▪ Once the signed contract is received, an invoice will be sent.
▪ Proof of payment is required 48 hours before exhibition is set up. Use the invoice number as reference when
making payment.
▪ Should all of the above be approved and /or adhered to, the exhibitor will exhibit for the specified period in
the display court as agreed to in the exhibition contract. ▪ All rates exclude VAT, Parking and Security.
